Program DetailsLiterature Lovers' Night Out™ is a ticketed event that features local and national authors in a moderated program. Excelsior Bay Books and Valley Bookseller use off-site venues with seating for 300+ guests. The two bookstores are about an hour apart and serve entirely different customer areas.
The program is designed as an evening reception with refreshments, or as a luncheon program. Guests are treated to an entertaining presentation of each author's life and work, and an opportunity to stock up on signed books.
The audience consists of avid readers, book club members, and gift shoppers.

If you are an author...and you'd like to be considered for an upcoming event, please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line: "Author Pitch for LLNO."
In the body of your email, please provide the following information:
All pitches should arrive at least 6 months prior to the proposed event date. Please note that it is extraordinarily rare for non-traditionally published authors to be invited to participate in our events. We will respond within 2 weeks if we are interested in receiving a physical copy of your book for further consideration. PLEASE DO NOT SEND GALLEYS IF WE DO NOT REQUEST ONE. If you do not hear from us after two weeks, you may assume we are not interested. |
