Literature Lovers' Night Out™ host Pamela Klinger Horn will be onsite at the Chanhassen Public Library (7711 Kerber Boulevard, Chanhassen MN 55317) for a Fall Author Talk with Scott Dominic Carpenter.
Following his hilarious introduction to Paris in French Like Moi, midwesterner Scott Dominic Carpenter returns to the scene of the crime with more tales of intrigue in his new book Paris Lost & Found: A Memoir of Love. This time, though, the story starts with sorrow as the author’s wife struggles with dementia. Humor may be the best medicine, but even the antics of a vandal in their building can’t cement the tiles of her memory for long. Before he expects it, Carpenter finds himself alone in a capital that is also blighted by the pandemic. This event is free and open to the public. |
Erin Clarke will discuss her journey from the influential blog Well Plated by Erin, to the creation of her popular cookbooks, inspiring millions along the way. Joining Erin in conversation will be Lee Funke of Fit Foodie Finds.
You’ll be leaving this event feeling inspired and having sampled one of Erin’s delicious recipes – Good thing you’ll also be leaving with a signed copy of Well Plated Everyday in your hands! Books provided by Valley Bookseller. This event will be hosted at ModernWell on October 30th, from 7:00pm-8:30pm. |
